Pre-Press and Bureau Services
Direct experience in the printing industry, and high levels of computer technology means that Pagination Design Services can provide imagesetting and pre-press services to the exacting standards required by either sheet offset, web press and screen printers. We offer a wide variety of pre-press bureau services such as scanning, file conversions, page imposition, CD burning, imagesetting and proofing.
From computer graphics files, Pagination can produce high resolution film positives or negatives (up to a maximum width of 453mm x almost any length) for a variety of printing processes including quality offset four colour process and multi colour screen print work. Film Positive and Film negative material can be imaged at any screen ruling up to 175 lines per inch at 3000 DPI and our imagesetting and film processor units are calibrated for consistent and accurate results.
With advanced electronic technology we support a wide range of computer file formats from both Apple and IBM, and accept files by a variety of means including the Internet, email, USB's, CD's, Zip discs, Flash cards, Syquest Discs and SCSI devices. Whilst we can accept many different application files such as InDesign, Illustrator, PageMaker, CorelDraw, Quark Express, Publisher etc, our preferred file format is Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
